Changelog

KeyFollow 1.2.3

  • The License window now opens the current offer on keyfollow.com instead of showing a fixed price.

KeyFollow 1.2.2

  • Lower energy use while you work. KeyFollow no longer speeds up the camera analysis while it is only waiting for you to stop typing or using the mouse.

KeyFollow 1.2.1

  • Fix: the Welcome window no longer opens every time KeyFollow starts, and switching works right away after launch.
  • Includes everything in 1.2: about half the energy use of 1.1.

KeyFollow 1.2

  • About half the energy use. KeyFollow now uses roughly half as much processor time as 1.1: it analyzes the camera less often while your head is still (and speeds up the moment you turn), and the camera delivers smaller frames.
  • Simpler and steadier. The experimental eye check has been removed; switching is based on where your head points, as in 1.0.

KeyFollow 1.1.1

  • Sharper camera image. KeyFollow now reads the camera at 720p so it can see your eyes clearly.
  • Eye check paused. The eye check from 1.1 sometimes ignored you while you were looking at a screen. It is switched off while we improve it; switching works exactly as before.

KeyFollow 1.1

  • Eye check. KeyFollow now also looks at where your eyes are pointing, not just your head. If your head turns toward a screen but your eyes are somewhere else — talking to someone, looking out the window — focus stays where it is. Recalibrate once from the menu to turn it on.
  • Automatic updates. New versions install themselves. You can turn this off in Settings, or choose Check for Updates… from the menu.

KeyFollow updates itself. To check now, choose Check for Updates… from the menu bar icon.
